Brett went for a swim this morning. He had never swam in the ocean before; I mean - really swam. The race venue is really filling up with people and vendors and more people. While Brett was swimming we hung out on a sandy beach that is protected by a wall. It was a great place for the kids to experience the waves. We ran into three folks from Colorado Springs that Brett knows who are also doing the race. They suggested that this beach is a great place to watch the race with the kids.
