Late August Camping trip

We snuck the kids out of school for a day to go camping and to follow the USA Pro Cycling Challenge.  My brother flew out for the week.  We camped and chased the cycling race around Colorado.  It was an awesome experience that we plan to repeat.

Volleyball

Isabella asked to try volleyball this fall.  I think it is a pretty challenging sport for 8 year olds, but she is giving it her best shot.  I realize that her eyes are closed in the second picture, but at least she was trying to hit the ball and not running from it.

Cross Country

Hunter is just left of center in the burgandy shirt.
He runs hard at each race.  He like the race, but would like it better if he
every race got a ribbon for finishing in the top 10 runners :-)
Orion is at the left in front.  Check out his tongue.  He is concentrating hard, but one day he's going to bite through his tongue.  Having done this myself, I try to convince to keep his tongue in his mouth.

Isabella's 8th Birthday (July)

My camera broke while we were in Indiana.  My mother-in-law let me use her camera, but instead of having the pictures on our hard drive, they are uploaded to Shutterfly.  I can't get the application from Shutterfly to upload the pictures to my blog - even though it says it is an option.  I'll work on it.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to get this feature of Shutterfly to work, please let me know.  Until then you will have to wait for pictures of my 8 year old girl!

Sabrina's 4th Birthday (May)

On Sabrina's actual birthday we took cupcakes to preschool
This completes the Chuck E Cheese parties for our family.
All of our children have had their 4th birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese.

Orion's 9th Birthday (in March :-)

On his actual birthday we took cupcakes into his classroom.

Over spring break we had a birthday party at a local swimming pool.

Mt. Rushmore - Day 1 & Day 2

I think the stripes on this tree look really cool!
Other people took this picture because they thought
it was cool to have the kids mimicking the presidents.
These burros were so crazy.  They walked right up to us begging for
food. We fed them peanut butter pretzels.
Check out Hunter's smile.
Sabrina freaked out a little because this burro put its head right inside the van.
