I have been working evenings for two weeks. It is a great situation for our family overall - the kids are being watched at our house, they are only with a babysitter for five hours a day (instead of 10 hours), Brett and I don't have to spend extra time tranporting them, and they get to nap at home. BUT ... I miss my family a lot. I'm not used to being away from them. Our family hasn't been together at all since I get home after the kids are asleep.

While I'm not home to tuck the kids into bed, I do go kiss them good-night when I get home. This is a picture of how Isabella was sleeping when I went to kiss her. She looked so sweet sleeping with all of those animals gathered around her.
