Copper Mountain Sunsation

We braved the traffic and crowds to take the kids skiing one last time this season. It was the last day of skiing at Copper Mountain - the weekend is called Sunsation. We all had a great time - warm weather, good snow and skiing!! Sabrina was a really good sport all day. After lunch she asked me to be put in the pack on my back. She fell asleep and slept - on my back while I was helping Hunter ski - for two hours. She's so easy going!
Orion lost his ski as he went over this jump.
Orion sitting on the "big" lift all by himself. He looks cool.
Sabrina is throwing snow at her dad. She is a sassy toddler!
To get to the bigger lift required some walking or poling on skis. We knew that Hunter couldn't make it on his own, so Brett threw him up on his shoulders.
This was Hunter's only time to ski this year. He did great. He will be SO ready for next year. Three on skis - only one more to go until we'll be skiing every weekend as a family :-)
The kids ride this conveyor belt up to the top of a little hill. It's called the Magic Carpet.
Isabella is better at turning one direction. I was encouraging her to work on turning the opposite direction. She kept throwing her hips into to get her body to shift directions.
